Brad Halbrook Wins State Representative Race

Last night, we secured the Republican nomination for state Representative in the 110th district.  Your very hard work and personal sacrifices made our victory a reality.  Thank you to the Republican primary voters for the 1,000 vote win, I was humbled.

I’d also like to recognize my Republican opponents, Roger Eddy and Kevin Gardner. It is no easy task to run for election. More people in Illinois need to step up and run for office.

Lastly, I want to thank my family, friends and all of the volunteers who put in thousands of hours of work to help lead us to victory tonight. My campaign manager Susan Petty walked thousands of doors and assembled one of the most effective grassroots campaigns in recent memory. My parents gathered hundreds of petition signatures, placed hundreds of signs, and battled the elements. Thank you to my wife Linda- as a family, we worked around-the-clock to bring our message of reform to the citizens of this district.

Thank you to House Leader Tom Cross, Congressman John Shimkus, Rep. Chapin Rose, Sen. Kyle McCarter and Rep. Dwight Kay who all endorsed my campaign.  Our Republican leadership is strong and has the proven policies to preserve freedom and liberty.

Together, we reached out to conservative voters and delivered a strong message.  I will go to Springfield to repeal the income tax hike, freeze property taxes, spearhead term limits, and help open & audit the spending.  I will be a champion of our second amendment rights and defend the entire continuum of life.

As we said during the primary campaign, Illinois has time, but time is running out.  I understand the importance of this moment in our history. In November, please elect me to be your state representative and I will fight for a proud Illinois with reputation of integrity and opportunity where citizens can flourish.

Thank you again for your help during this election. I am truly humbled by your outpouring of support.
