Illinois has a crisis in public service – in the form of a complete breakdown of government sector ethics. The citizens are viewed income streams, not people to be served.
For The Good of Illinois PAC is successfully challenging elected officials to return to first principles. Three times in this primary election cycle, opponents of reform left the ballot or suspended their campaigns rather than face transparency.
We need your help to accomplish more…
American public service traditionally involved some form of sacrifice by individuals to serve society. It was pretty simple. In today’s Illinois, that principle has been inverted. Instead, we have an environment where public service jobs enrich politicians and their patronage armies at the expense of hard working citizens.
Public sector corruption is now crushing private sector production. Herb Stein said, “Unsustainable trends tend not to be sustained.” The patterns of crony capitalism, public pay packages, and legalized money laundering schemes are crowding out private sector investments.
The ultimate accountability is at the ballot box. We’ve endorsed a dozen statehouse candidates that are bold, independent leaders demanding transparent, accountable and limited government.
You have a role to play, and we need your help to elect them…
Sen. Kyle McCarter (R-Lebanon), Rep. Dwight Kay (R-Glen Carbon), Sen. Sam McCann (R-Carlinville), Brad Halbrook (R-Mattoon), Sen. Ron Sandack (R-Downers Grove), David McSweeney (R-Barrington Hills), John Bambenek (R-Champaign), Cliff Surges (R-Kane County), Garrett Peck (R-Plainfield), Susan Sweeney (R-Park Ridge), Sen. Christine Johnson (R-DeKalb), and Lennie Jarrett (R-Grayslake)
My wife Kerry Andrzejewski is matching up to the first $10,000. Please match her commitment online, today- with a $25, $50, $50, $250, $500 or $1,000 gift.
I am personally asking you for your help. Let’s do this together!
