Hinsdale- For The Good of Illinois PAC enthusiastically endorses Sen. Ron Sandack for the Republican nomination for the 81st House District.
“In Springfield, Ron Sandack champions the principles of accountability and limited government,” said Adam Andrzejewski, Chairman of For The Good of Illinois PAC. “Sandack has the political weight to carry real reforms. He has demonstrated the courage to challenge and change the status quo.”
Spearheading term limits for the state legislature, eliminating unnecessary units of local government, leading on pension reform locally and statewide, and authoring the bill to eliminate legislative scholarships, Ron Sandack has earned the right to again represent taxpayers.
As a freshman state senator, Sandack distinguished himself in Springfield as a bold leader.
Long before the issue was popular, Sandack declined his legislative pension. Then, Sandack authored the bill to end the gold-plated pensions for the entire general assembly- he continues to be the sole sponsor. Sandack was only one of four senators to vote against the Sears/CME corporate give away in the veto session.
Ron Sandack’s bold leadership in Springfield is not new.
During his tenure as mayor of Downers Grove, Sandack led the village through belt tightening: from 374 full time employees and a yearly operating budget of $43 million to 329 employees and an operating budget of $39 million.
“Ron Sandack’s record defends hard working families, small business owners and entrepreneurs,” said Adam Andrzejewski. “Ron Sandack has demonstrated the independence necessary to be a driving Republican force and outstanding leader.”
