On April 29, 2010, President Obama visited Quincy and gave a special shout out to one of his strongest supporters, Sen. John Sullivan (D-Rushville).  Sullivan was so happy- he made a video, click here.

In this district, Gov. Mitt Romney is beating Obama, 60-40.  It’s conservative downstate Illinois.

So why was Barack Obama’s “best friend” getting a pass on re-election?

We decided to fight…

Three weeks ago, we started a cable TV commercial and it’s moving numbers:  Sullivan’s re-elect is below 50%.  Read his desperate press release.

Sullivan is hypocrite you just can’t trust:

• Voted for the 67% income tax hike (HB 174) before voting against it.
• Voted against his own pay hikes, before he voted for them (SB241), (HB3866), (SB1102).
• Called me a “Chicago-influence “peddler”, but large campaign cash comes out of Chicago!

Sullivan is in Senate Democratic leadership.  He does the bidding of the Chicago Machine.

What do you call a Springfield politician- the “best friend” of Barack Obama whose spent a decade helping Democrats hike taxes, spending, and borrowing?

You call him home.
