For the Good of Illinois PAC Poll: Three-Quarters of Voters Think Illinois is on the Wrong Track & 59% of Illinois Voters Disapprove of the Job Pat Quinn is Doing as Governor

Hinsdale, IL – Today, For the Good of Illinois PAC, Adam Andrzejewski Chairman, released its second in a series of findings, which discovered that 59% of voters disapprove of the job Pat Quinn is doing as Governor including 86% of Republicans and 55% of Independents.  Also, the poll found that 77% of Illinois voters think Illinois is on the wrong track while only 17% say Illinois is moving in the right direction.

“Governor Pat Quinn and his policies are driving jobs and families out of Illinois.  Pat Quinn is destroying the Illinois economy and this poll proves it,” said Adam Andrzejewski, For the Good of Illinois PAC Chairman.

Poll was done by McLaughlin & Associates. This Illinois statewide survey was conducted among 500 likely general election voters on September 4-–-5, 2012. All interviews were conducted by professional interviewers via telephone. Interview selection was at random within predetermined election units. These units were structured to statistically correlate with actual voter distributions in a general election for Governor. The accuracy of the sample of 500 likely general election voters is within +/-–- 4.5% at a 95% confidence interval. Question asked was, Do you approve of the job Governor Pat Quinn is doing as Governor & is Illinois headed in the right direction or the wrong direction?
