David McSweeney has a proven track record that defends hard working families, small business owners and entrepreneurs.  Illinois has an acute need for bold, independent leadership.

As a candidate, McSweeney’s top priority is to repeal the 67% income tax hike and to freeze property tax levies.  These taxes are crushing private sector jobs and stopping small business creation.  In fact, Cook, Kane, Lake and McHenry counties are all ranked in the top 100 across the nation for the highest property taxes.

McSweeney will usher in a new era in Springfield.  State representative is a part-time position with a gold-plated pension. McSweeney will decline and spearhead efforts to cut legislative pensions.
