Brief Description: We prove that Township is cash rich; Top 10 employees make $1 million of total compensation; and no formal management system existed for years- no job descriptions, time cards, job activity reports, or contracts. When asked to produce the personnel file, the supervisor didn’t even know if one existed.
We uncover evidence that thousands of taxpayer dollars is spent on fine dining; thousands on gas purchases without receipts; personnel expenses paid with Township credit card; 137 phone calls to local political figures during a campaign season on Township cell phone; Township email during multiple election cycles used for political purposes; Township exposed to massive liabilities- including a price quote to install a listening device at the Assessor’s desk (unbeknownst to the Assessor); a video and audio recording system secretly recording citizens and employees for weeks without notice; and evidence of drinking and driving of the Township van.
